Both Yahoo! Sports and the NFL Network are reporting Tom Brady is most likely out for the year with a torn ACL.  Both are relying on sources “close to the team”.  It’s as though we learned nothing about NFL sources during the whole Favre debacle.

   the reporter without a second thought, yet the reporter will go back to that same source again and again hoping they can get the story first.  Chris Mortensen is the absolute worst at this, yet for some reason he keeps his cush gig on ESPN.
2. If you want dirt you can take to the bank, listen to Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer.  Glazer stayed down during the entire Favre mess, surfacing only when he had the story and had it right.  And, go figure, he had it first.

If this is true, I’m going to be torn.  I’ll definitely revel in the decline (probably for only one year) of the Pats.  However, Brady was my first round fantasy pick this year.  So now where do I turn?  Matt Ryan?  J.T. O’Sullivan?

Tom Brady somehow slipped all the way to number 6 in my league’s draft this year.  He did not get past me.  Now I might be stuck with a lemon.  Great.

Do I stick it out with Cutler then?  Or do I pick up Pennington off waivers?  Decisions decisions.
