Pete in Parkrose may have opened his inbox this morning to find a login to this very blog.  Should he choose to use it, he would be able to post here about darned near anything he pleased.  Sarah Palin?  Life in Idaho?  Kilgore Trout?  The possibilities boggle the mind.

Pete, if you haven’t figured out, is one of my dearest friends.  He’s also a heckuva writer.  And a pretty decent dad and husband to boot.  He’s got some fantastic stories in him, most of which could use an audience larger than my inbox.

So please join me in welcoming/coaxing Pete into the blogosphere.
