Or at least that’s the word on the street. I thought it was weird that he wasn’t on PTI yesterday, now we know why.
Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser are the only two newspaper columnists currently employed by ESPN who still have their dignity in tact, although an argument could be made as well for Peter Gammons. But beyond that, they’re all caricatures.

I agree re: Kornheiser and Wilbon, two solid journalists who enjoy arguing sports with each other. That’s the magic of “PTI.” Most sports shows today focus on the “arguing sports” part, without paying attention to the personalities or the credibility of the arguers.
I hope he recovers fully.
