Jeremy Schaap Meets Bobby Fisher

I’ve never been a big Jeremy Schaap fan. There’s no one reason. I think it’s just one of those occasions when someone rubs you the wrong way. I’m sure if we sat down over a beer we’d be friends in a heartbeat. Anyway, watching this video has made my level of respect grow tenfold. It’s interesting how a throwaway comment like the one Dick Schaap made can affect someone for the rest of their lives. Goodness knows I’ve had a few thrown at me that have stuck for decades.

    Haha, Jeremy Schaap completely owned Bobby Fischer. That was sick. I was getting pissed off at Fischer, listening to all that shit he was saying. Then Jeremy Schaap leaves him absolutely speechless. Way to go Jeremy!

    Yeah I’m with the blogger, I can’t stand Jeremy Schaap. But this is the one time I’ve wanted to stand up and applaud his work.
