Third Period

Shots are 31-20 to start the period. Gabriel is in the box, so things shouldn’t be too much different than when he’s ON the ice.
-And so it begins… Mucha gives up another rebound and Everett scores again. 5-2. Mucha was just too slow.
-An Everett player wants to dance with Gabriel. Gabriel runs his mouth a little, gets the guy to drop a glove, then skates away. This *should* be called delay of game but it’s not.
-Luke Walker, who’s looked good, gets into a little shoving match with a Tip. Nothing comes of it. Zalaski is letting a bunch of stuff go early. That usually means gloves on the ice later.
-Yada yada yada…
-Burt skates in shorthanded and finds Mucha where he ain’t. 6-2 Tips. Folks start to pack it in. Don’t they want to stay for the fights?
-Ponich takes the dumbest roughing penalty ever. Everett scores 30 seconds later. Bodies fly for the last 30 seconds of the game. Nothing comes of it.
-Everett 7 Portland 2
-Couldn’t Williamson have done this well?
